Senate Committee Examines Logistics of Transporting COVID-19 Vaccine

The Senate Commerce, Science & Transportation Committee's Subcommittee on Transportation & Safety will hold a hearing, "The Logistics of Transporting a COVID-19 Vaccine," at 9:30 a.m. (ET) on Thursday, December 10.

At the hearing, senators plan to examine transportation and logistics plans for ensuring COVID-19 vaccines are delivered across the country. Witnesses, including representatives from FedEx and UPS, will have the opportunity to discuss supply chain issues within the transportation network and ongoing coordination in preparation to distribute the vaccine, as well as the near and long-term outlooks for vaccine distribution.
