Peoples Services’ Honored with Women in Supply Chain Award

Peoples Services’ Candy Kline, Operations Information Systems Manager, and Tammy Steinman, Senior Operations Manager, have been honored with Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine’s first annual Women in Supply Chain Award. This award honors top female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship and examples set a foundation for women in all levels of a company’s supply chain network.

"After working in trucking for eight years, I worked in some other industries for a few years,” said Candy Kline. “When I changed jobs back to one in Logistics in 1992, I knew it was the right industry for me. In 2002, I started with Terminal Warehouse, which was acquired in 2010 by People Services. I consider myself very fortunate to work in an industry that has such an overall impact, doing a job that I enjoy and for a company where I love working."

"I have had the pleasure of working for Peoples Services for almost 15 years,” said Tammy Steinman. “I worked my way up from a floor position and am now a Senior Operations Manager. The versatility of our company has made me realize that logistics and warehousing is where I was meant to be. I thrive on the ever-changing climate of not only the warehousing industry but our clients as well. I am very fortunate that my peers have recognized me for this amazing accomplishment."
