Our primary purpose is to promote our Warehouse Logistics members and
communicate the value of logistics outsourcing. We cut through the clutter to
define the Value Added Warehouse Logistics industry and work tirelessly to advance our members’ interests.
The Association accomplishes this by:

Giving presentations to interested groups about logistics outsourcing

Representing the warehouse industry at governmental hearings and business
meetings

Advertising the advantages of warehouse outsourcing in publications

Issuing press releases covering industry activities

Placing articles in publications to communicate the value of warehouse
outsourcing

Publishing an Annual Buyer’s Guide and an electronic Logistics Search Engine
(LSL)

Our electronic search engine (buyer’s guide) connects companies looking to
outsource some or all of their warehouse operations. The Logistics Services
Locator (LSL) is an Internet-based search engine that:

Allows anonymous or qualified searches

Offers tips to help customers learn about warehouse outsourcing
-
Enables electronic submission of requests for information (RFI)
Through the LSL, companies considering an outsourcing their warehousing and other value added services will be able
to explore a dynamic database of Warehouse Logistics providers. They can obtain the location
and contact information of IWLA members in the database and peruse other key
information to assist with their decision-making.
The warehouse industry and changing rapidly. Value added service offerings and capabilities are
