Our primary purpose is to promote our Warehouse Logistics members and communicate the value of logistics outsourcing. We cut through the clutter to define the Value Added Warehouse Logistics industry and work tirelessly to advance our members’ interests.

The Association accomplishes this by:

  • Giving presentations to interested groups about logistics outsourcing
  • Representing the warehouse industry at governmental hearings and business meetings
  • Advertising the advantages of warehouse outsourcing in publications
  • Issuing press releases covering industry activities
  • Placing articles in publications to communicate the value of warehouse outsourcing
  • Publishing an Annual Buyer’s Guide and an electronic Logistics Search Engine (LSL)
  • And more…
Our electronic search engine (buyer’s guide) connects companies looking to outsource some or all of their warehouse operations. The Logistics Services Locator (LSL) is an Internet-based search engine that:
  • Allows anonymous or qualified searches
  • Offers tips to help customers learn about warehouse outsourcing
  • Enables electronic submission of requests for information (RFI)
Through the LSL, companies considering an outsourcing their warehousing and other value added services will be able to explore a dynamic database of Warehouse Logistics providers. They can obtain the location and contact information of IWLA members in the database and peruse other key information to assist with their decision-making.
