Steve W. DeHaan, CAE, President & CEO
As president and chief executive officer, Steve manages the association’s operations, works with the leadership to establish the organization’s strategic direction and oversees IWLA’s government affairs efforts. He is the primary liaison to the IWLA Board of Directors.
Jay Strother, Vice President
Jay works with IWLA leaders and staff to focus, maintain and promote the IWLA brand to those audiences and to the 3PL-buying public (shippers). He oversees the marketing, web and electronic communication, education and meeting staff members and creates campaigns for IWLA events and directives.
Liz Whitney, Senior Manager, Education & Meetings
Liz oversees IWLA educational offerings (IWLA Essentials Course; IWLA Legal Symposium; IWLA Costs, Rates & RFP Responses; IWLA Technology Solutions, etc.), including the association’s specialized events. She is the staff contact for the educational aspects of the IWLA Convention & Expo as well as the Warehouse Logistics Professional (WLP) program.
Sheresa McClain, Manager of Administrative & Personnel Services
Sheresa oversees the general administrative and personnel aspects of the association. This includes the daily/monthly distribution of funds, reconciliations and maintenance of all bank accounts, maintenance of the personnel records, maintenance of payroll records and related documents and is the liaison between the association and the vendors with respect to the employee benefit programs.
Joe de Guzman, Senior Coordinator, Programs & Distance Learning
Joe is responsible for the day-to-day institutional benefits and offerings for IWLA members. His duties include the member-facing portion of IWLA webinars, educational events, and member inquiries.
Morgan Zenner, Manager, Marketing & Public Relations
Morgan manages branding and communication messaging in all e-communications, website and marketing collaterals. She is the primary media contact for trade and consumer media outlets and she is responsible for IWLA public relations initiatives. She also represents IWLA at industry events, tradeshows and the IWLA Convention & Expo.
Ben Fairbank, Senior Coordinator, Strategic Data
Ben is responsible for data entry, database maintenance, maintenance of membership department files, new member process, and responding to general membership inquiries.
Rocio Lemke, Accounting & Finance Manager
Rocio is responsible for the daily accounting activities at IWLA. She also generates invoices for a variety of association activities, coordinates the filing of documents for IWLA Political Action Committee, and assists with various financial projects as needed.
Arelys Rivera, Office Coordinator
Arelys provides general and administrative support. She is the point of contact for communicating with IWLA general office vendors and serves as IWLA’s receptionist.
Janet Trozzo, Administrative Assistant
Janet works to support efforts across IWLA – from membership processing to board documentation. She works closely with the management team to ensure deadlines are met and processes are in place to deliver efficient member service.
IWLA Consultants & Contractors
John Levi, Executive Director Canadian Council
John is the primary contact for information and service for the IWLA Canadian Council. He is involved in membership recruitment and monitors, tracks and analyzes Canada’s policy developments, regulatory filings and legislation as to their impact on warehouse/distribution centers and the commercial goods movement.
Pat O’Connor, IWLA Washington Representative
Pat provides lobbying services in Washington D.C. He monitors and tracks legislative and regulatory issues, represents the association in coalitions with allied organizations. He sets up and participates in meetings with agency congressional staff, drafts legislative alerts, provides advice and counsel for the IWLA Political Action Committee and assists with planning government relations activities.
Kevin Phillips, IWLA Retained Counsel
IWLA’s retained counsel for the United States, Kevin Philips, Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary, P.C., serves as a legal resource for association members, responding to member inquiries regarding customer contracts and warehouse law.
Donna Rebeck, CFO Consultant
Donna provides financial expertise and consultation to IWLA’s board and staff and its affiliate organizations, as well as oversees the accounting, financial reporting, audit and tax return preparations, financial systems, and internal controls.
Jennifer Rezny, Membership Consultant
Jennifer actively identifies and recruits new warehouse and partner members for the organization. Her background in industrial engineering and project management allow her great understanding of the warehouse environment. In addition, she works with the IWLA New Member Recruitment & Orientation Committee to ensure members get the most from the IWLA experience.
Mike Williams, California Chapter Government Affairs Consultant
Michael’s duties include tracking and analyzing California’s policy developments, regulatory filings and legislation as to their impact on our industry. He coordinates with IWLA to develop and maintain a network of active members for statewide grassroots advocacy.
