IWLA Launches New Website,
Offers Enhanced Features to Warehouse Logistics Community

Nov. 3, 2014 (DES PLAINES, Ill.) – The International Warehouse Logistics Association recently launched an upgraded website, The website is another milestone in the branding refresh the association adopted last month. New features and functionality enhance navigation, provide real-time industry news/information, promote membership, and increase participation by new and existing members.

One new tool, Find a Warehouse, allows site visitors to locate warehousing services that meet their needs. The search is based on key words, warehouse capabilities, and geography.

“The new website supports the association’s rebranding efforts including a new logo and tagline: IWLA is the resource for warehouse logistics. Our new website delivers resources to the warehouse logistics industry, to the partner suppliers who support the industry, and to the warehouse-buying public,” says IWLA president & CEO Steve DeHaan.

The website brings value to each audience:

  • Members: IWLA warehouse and partner members can visit the IWLA website to learn about education programs, events, government advocacy efforts, councils, associations, industry information, or membership inquiries. They have access to a members-only section of the website that provides links to advisory services, documents, and other group discounts through the Member Advantage program.
  • Vendors/partners: IWLA partner members provide warehouse members with the expertise and products they need in order to be successful. The new website gives partners more access to warehouse members. It also allows them insight into volunteer committees, events, sponsorships, and advertising.
  • Prospective warehouse logistics clients: The “Find a Warehouse” tool is an enhanced listing of IWLA warehouse members. Prospective clients can search for the industry’s top warehouse facilities by location, certification, keywords or company name. They can also contact warehouses directly by submitting a request for information through the website.

“The new website gives IWLA great flexibility to add and change our site as changes occur. Because of this, we are better able to communicate to our audiences and create more value for the association and for our membership,” DeHaan says. “We have had several new member inquiries in the few weeks since the new site has launched. This validates that we are moving in the right direction.”

The new site allows members to enhance their profiles, add warehousing locations, and register for IWLA events (including the IWLA Technology & Operations Solutions for Warehousing Conference, Nov. 12-14, in Chicago, Ill., and the 2015 IWLA Convention & Expo, March 8-10, in Savannah, Ga.).
