New/evolving legislation and regulations make doing business in California a moving target. IWLA California Chapter members have an advantage: Face-to-face meetings that provide insight into legislative activities and peer discussion about how to best handle these emerging issues:

  • Be ready for a visit from a California OSHA representative. Hear about the most common safety violations and compliance considerations for warehouses.
  • Understand how the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) and Labor and Employment Law changes for 2019-2020 will affect how your warehouse works.
  • Prepare for the impact of the elections, ballot measures (including polling data on the Split Role Tax), and other local and state regulations (CUP and other key hurdles in L.A. County & Carson regarding city planning and economic development).
  • Hear about the Dynamex Ruling and other key landmark rulings – plus, get an update on SB673 Hazardous Waste.
