In addition, Scott oversees the IWLA Member Advantage Program and, with committee support, plans and manages the Association's Annual Convention. Linda Wood Assistant Vice President of Education lwood@iwla.com Linda’s duties include developing and implementing IWLA sponsored education & training programs, coordinating research projects and administrating of the certified logistics professional (CLP) program. Ben Stephens Director of Public Relations bstephens@iwla.com As Director of Public Relations, Ben develops and implements the Association’s public relations activities and executes the communication of key messages to the membership, media and industry. Ben serves as editor of IWLA's weekly e-newsletter. Sheresa McClain Manager of Administrative and Personnel Services smcclain@iwla.com Sheresa oversees the general administrative and personnel aspects of the Association. This includes the daily/monthly distribution of funds, reconciliations and maintenance of all bank accounts, maintenance of the personnel records, maintenance of payroll records and related documents and is the liaison between the association and the vendors with respect to the employee benefit programs. Faith Ramey Membership Manager framey@iwla.com Faith is responsible for the implementation of the Association warehouse member recruitment and retention efforts and execution of related activities. Faith also oversees the implementation of regional membership meetings and manages the Membership Coordinator. Chereka Thompson-Hubbard Membership Coordinator cthompson@iwla.com Chereka is responsible for membership database management, maintenance of membership department files, coordination of membership-related projects and responding to general membership inquiries and administrative duties. She is also responsible for Logistics Services Locator data management. Mandy Kalish Marketing & Communications Coordinator mkalish@iwla.com Mandy provides specific administrative support to the Marketing and Communications department. Mandy assists with print projects, Web site updates, regular member communications and is responsible for coordinating the registration process for many association events. She also provides office support for the Association President and CEO, coordinates member warehouse law inquiries and handles general requests for information. Brenda Schweda Office Coordinator bschweda@iwla.com Brenda provides administrative support to all departments within the Association. She is responsible for answering incoming telephone calls from members and the public. She handles requests for information as well as coordinating daily office functions including ordering supplies and materials, data entry and web site updates. Jennifer Urias Education Coordinator jurias@iwla.com Jennifer provides administrative support to the Education Department. This includes processing educational session registrations and confirmations, editing and enhancing session promotional documents, speaker presentations and other educational products. He monitors and tracks legislative and regulatory issues, represents the Association in coalitions with allied organizations. He sets up and participates in meetings with agency congressional staff, drafts legislative alerts, provides advice and counsel for the Political Action Committee and assists with planning government relations activities for the Annual Convention. Kevin Phillips Retained Counsel kphillips@fisherkanaris.com IWLA’s retained counsel for the United States, Kevin Philips, Fisher Kanaris P.C., serves as a legal resource for Association members, responding to member inquiries regarding customer contracts and warehouse law. Catherine Pawluch Retained Counsel catherine.pawluch@gowlings.com IWLA’s retained counsel in Canada, Catherine Pawluch, Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP, serves as a legal resource for Association members in Canada, assisting those members with inquiries regarding customer contracts and warehouse law. Patty Senecal State Government Affairs psenecal@iwla.com Patty's duties include tracking and analyzing California's policy developments, regulatory filings and legislation as to their impact on our industry. She coordinates with IWLA to develop and maintain a network of active members for statewide grassroots advocacy. Patty also coordinates BI-PAC grassroots actvities and conducts fundraising for special IWLA-PAC events. David Long Executive Director Canadian Council dlong@iwla.com David is the primary contact for information and service for the Canadian Council of IWLA. He is involved in membership recruitment and retention for the council. David also monitors, tracks and analyzes Canada's policy developments, regulatory filings and legislation as to their impact on warehouse/distribution centers and the commercial goods movement.
