IWLA’s CLP – Promoting Professionalism

As the premier trade association for 3PLs in North America, IWLA created the Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) designation to set standards of excellence for warehouse logistics management and promote professionalism throughout the industry.

The only one of its kind, the CLP program is offered through IWLA’s Education & Research Foundation. It is designed specifically for the warehouse logistics professional and is recognized by hundreds of companies.

The certification process is simple and flexible, yet thorough. It includes:

(1) An educational component comprised of Key Courses and Conferences that strengthen and individual’s professional capabilities and positions them for success in the 3PL industry; and

(2) An opportunity to gain visibility and make a contribution to the industry by teaching or speaking at an IWLA educational event, writing articles for Association publications or participating on Association committees, councils or the Board of Directors.

Individuals who meet all the criteria are awarded a certificate and pin designating them as a CLP – a certification that is recognized as standing for logistics management excellence throughout the industry.
